Great Commercial

I’ve always been a huge fan of Nike’s Basketball television campaigns; ranging from early Jordan commercials to the mid ninties saga of Lil Penny. I must say that this Lebron and Kobe series has been really fresh! Peep the even latest commercial here where one again puppet versions of Kobe tries to jump over a speeding Aston Martin.

What’s better than Patrick Ewing dunking on you?

NBA Player leaves for Greece

I know its happened before where injury stricken or washed up players would bolt to play ball overseas, but this case is a bit different.  Twenty-five year old Josh Childress (who still has plenty of game left in him) has decided to forego his NBA career and play for Olympiakos of Greece.  When you got a team offering you TLC and 20 million over 3 years, its tough to pass on.  But if I was David Stern I would be sweating a tad bit. A sign of things to come?

Shaq Disses Kobe…

Is this supposed to be a freestyle? I don’t know… one of my co-workers seems to think that this is written. If it is, then it’s pretty bad, but if it is in fact a freestyle, then it’s pretty good… for a non MC. Good or bad it’s fuckin’ hilarious!
