For the past few months we have been curating issue with the creative platform known as Behance. As part of our ongoing collaboration with the Behance Network, we present to you our next installment with curated issue four. Clive Chin, who is highly regarded as one of Jamaica’s most innovative producers and known to many as the founder of Dub sound speaks with King of P&T Mfg. Co. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Chin who first started Randy’s Studio 17 and Randy’s Record Store located in North Parade, Kingston, in the 60’s and 70’s it was known as the epicenter for Jamaican music during its era. We like to introduce to you to our food contributing editor, Chuck Ortiz. He is a self confessed “foodie” who for more then five years has been directly involved in the restaurant business, operates his own catering service and most recently was nominated to the exclusive Top 30 under 30 list by the OHI (Ontario Hostelry Institute).
He has taken his passion for food and wine and harnessed it under his new online publication titled, Acquired Taste Magazine. His aim for his online publication is to, “serve as a common ground for first time foodies and experienced connoisseurs.”
As a new angle to add to our Inquiringmind banner, each week Chuck Ortiz will be curating unique food content for you, our readers. From cooking, obtaining the right tools, to the basic know how’s in the kitchen, we hope you enjoy these weekly segments from our culinary expert. After all, besides fashion, photography, music and design, we all enjoy good food, don’t we? In the meantime, be sure to make him feel at home and check out what Acquired Taste Magazine has to offer. An Asian-American who grew up in Columbus, Ohio; Weiden and Kennedy’s global executive creative director, John Jay has come a long way. In his early days he began as the lead creative with fashion retail chain Bloomingdales to an established profession with ad-world’s most prominent company, Weiden and Kennedy. Today he serves as the 2nd in command for the company, all the while restoring Portland’s Chinatown community. LAUNCH FEATURE

Taking a look into our Inqmnd Photostream we take it back to 2006 when we hooked up with Brooklyn Basement’s, Tommy Rebel. A Brooklyn native who since ‘87 was racking, writing, rocking sneakers and staying fly, he is a representation of an authentic era of New York City.
