Warren Bolster

The unfortunate passing of Warren Bolster will approach its four year anniversary on the sixth of September. A pioneer of skateboard and surfing photography, Bolster produced iconic covers for Surfer Magazine spanning over the course of two decades. Simultaneously, he contributed as a focal point for the resurgence of skateboard culture in the 70’s as editor for Skateboarder Magazine. Renown as a master of photography, Bolster’s vision captured new angles, from daring heights, exhibiting remarkable perspectives such as noseriding photos that displayed  never before seen proximity to view extreme sports. A purist that refused to compromise his professional integrity, Bolster devoted his creative genius to showcase the beauty of boarding on both water & concrete. Link
